🌆 Day 1: Exploring Muscat – Tradition Meets Ocean Breeze

🏰 Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque

My first stop was the iconic Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. The white marble design, exquisite chandeliers, and peaceful courtyards make it one of the most stunning mosques in the world. The prayer hall’s massive carpet and crystal lights are breathtaking.

🌊 Mutrah Corniche & Souq

In the evening, I strolled along the Mutrah Corniche—waves on one side, white houses and mountains on the other. The Mutrah Souq was buzzing with energy, filled with frankincense, perfumes, scarves, and intricate silver jewelry.

🏛️ Royal Opera House Muscat

Even if you don’t watch a show, the architecture alone is worth appreciating. It’s elegant, classy, and a beautiful symbol of Oman’s cultural charm.

🏜️ Day 2: Wahiba Sands – A Desert Dream

The next day, I headed into one of Oman’s most magical regions: Wahiba Sands.

The dunes felt endless. I took a camel ride with local Bedouins who shared stories of their traditions and lifestyle—simple, rich, and heartwarming.

Swimming in crystal-clear pools and entering the secret cave with a narrow crack felt like discovering a hidden world.

🌊 Day 4: Sur & Turtle Watching in Ras Al Jinz

🏘️ Sur Coastal Town

Sur is peaceful and picturesque, famous for its dhow (traditional boat) making. Watching craftsmen build wooden boats by hand was fascinating.

At night, witnessing giant green turtles laying eggs along the beach was surreal. It felt like nature’s greatest miracle.

🏔️ Day 5: Jebel Akhdar & Nizwa – Mountains & Culture

🌄 Jebel Akhdar (The Green Mountain)

Cool temperatures, terraced rose farms, and cliff-edge viewpoints—Jebel Akhdar is perfect for scenic drives and photography.

🏰 Nizwa Fort

This iconic fort showcases Oman’s rich history. The souq nearby is great for buying dates, halwa, pottery, and silver jewelry.
